Today was Noah's last "month" birthday! I know I say it every month but it amazes me how big he has gotten! They grow so fast and change so much! Next month we will be celebrating his FIRST birthday!!!
We had a great first Thanksgiving with Noah! We celebrated by going his Gamma and Papa's house! We had a great time and Noah enjoyed having his first bites of turkey and spending time with some of his family!
I really don't think it will be long until our little man is walking! Here is a picture I took on my cell phone of Noah pulling up for the first time!! yay!!
For Halloween we took Noah to the Fall Festival at church! Then a costume party with some of his friends! He wasn't too happy about the costume but we worked through it! ;)
We decided to take Noah pumpkin picking yesterday. It was SOOO cold...we went to Granddad's in Hendersonville. It was 48 degrees and super breezy! We had to wrap Noah in Daddy's jacket just to keep warm!
Daniel and I decided when we had Noah that we would wait until fall for his first vacation, basically due to the fact that we thought he would be miserable in the middle of summer in a stroller, car seat, on the beach, etc. So, we decided we would wait for cooler weather and go to Savannah!! We have always wanted to go to Savannah just never got around to it so we thought it would be fun with Noah.
We couldn't have picked a better time to take him-he was wonderful!!! He handled being a little off schedule so well! He was tired at times but he never got cranky...he is such a good boy!
We took a trolley tour and a riverboat tour....went to Forsyth park...walked River street and the rest of the city and did LOTS of eating!! So many good eats in Savannah---whooo, I am still full! LOL! We went to Lady and Son's, of course (Paula Deen's restaurant), The Pirate House (which was really neat to hear the stories of how the pirates came in through the tunnels underground the house), Mrs Wilke's Boarding House (so yummy!) and much more!
I am a flawed follower of Christ, a wife to an amazing man, Daniel and a mother of 2 beautiful children and a tiny toy poodle.
Hoping this blog may be a place of encouragement to others.
